I visited this place on 2 consecutive nights recently whilst visiting my main supplier on business. There have been many places close down over the years and my supplier has struggled to find good places to go and eat but he's found a brilliant place here. The food was excellent on both evenings and the meat is cooked to perfection, as is everything else they serve. My absolute favourite thing to eat was actually after we had finished our main course. We both didn't have a dessert but they brought out a traditional thing for us to taste which was something called "Frittelle" which are only made around this time of the year and they were absolutely amazing and I couldn't get enough of them and even managed to take away a few which I took home to enjoy and share. I would recommend this pace to anyone, it's amazing and great friendly staff.Dear Nicholas,thank you so much for this lovely review! Traditional food and kind people. I was there during the Xmas vacations and due to other activities we were extremely late for lunch. They were very helpful waiting for us until 3 pm. extremely large table of traditional and superb Italian and local starters (help yourself style).We had the famous Baccala alla Vicentina with Polenta which was great. The lady offered us also a variety o dessert and the most appreciated was the home made icecream (I had Pistacchi someone else Vanilla/cream) with warm red fruits. extremily good.

Ci siamo stati un sabato sera, il locale è piccolino e conviene prenotare, non ha tanti coperti, anzi. La proprietaria, gentilissima, ci ha spiegato tutto il menu, e ci ha sconsigliato di prendere primi e/o antipasti se volevamo veramente gustare la carne (e visto i piatti di primi che passavano, con porzioni veramente super, è stato meglio così!!).Abbiamo gustato il Black Angus Usa, il Cube Roll irlandese, e un assaggio delle costine specialità della casa... tutto veramente ottimo.... e cucinato alla perfezione!!! Bravi!!!!Alla fine una fettina di dolce, un caffè, e un conto di certo non "salato", con amaro offerto al banco.Soddisfatti sia della qualità della carne che del prezzo, torneremo senz'altro, e lo consigliamo sicuramente!!!!

Usually I relate the word "chain" to Mac D., and other fast food like that. I mean: middle/low qualiti of food. In the case of Old Wild West in Schio, I must say that it is much different. The quality of meat is very high. It has been a surprise at the first time. Now we weekly go here. Apetizers are amazing. Sioux beef is super. Served with fries. Also the wine Nero d'Avola is pretty good. Nothing special about dessert. Prices are reasonable.
