We ordered pizza and grilled skewers of chicken breast. I made a pizza with tomato, ham, peppers and mushrooms. Fresh mushrooms are charged with extra 1,40â¬. Otherwise you have to compromise with can mushrooms. Delivery was quite fast. However both pizza and souvlaki were not partucularly tasty. Average taste, average quality.

I tried the meat menu. Goat, pork, and chicken was good. Fresh cut fried potatoes. Salads are fresh. House wine is also good. Good service. Free wifi. The complimentary desert was not that good. It is a dissent choice if you are in Kavala and looking for a family tavern. In general good value for money.

During our family vacation in Kavala we had dinner three times at Sousouro, and every time it was great. Such a friendly staff, we were warm welcomed there. Food is also amazing, we tried many dishes and all of them were well cooked, we loved their home wine as well. Only good memories, we hope to come back at out favorite place in town.

This is a traditional take away fast food. It offers grilled meat. You can select out of a selection of pork and beef meat. They grill skewers, meatballs shaped long and cylindrical, steaks and sausages. The speciality is the meatballs, in my opinion. No fried potatoes are served here. This is the old kind of pita in Kavala: bread, meat, tomato, onion, salt and pepper and some chilly aka boukouvo. For the younger he may add some mustard or ketchup sauce. I prefer just mustard. This is a self service take away. There are some seats available but sometimes it is so crowded you should not count on them.

This restaurant in the heart of the old town has an appropriate atmosphere and really deserves the good reviews. It specializes on local food - meat and salads (if you are fen of sea food better look for a fish restaurant). The grilled plate was tasty (though the small chop was a bit tough), the salads â good. The service was fast and friendly.
