Limenaria (Greek: Λιμενάρια) is a village on the island of Thasos in northern Greece. The village numbers 2480 residents (2011 census) and is the second largest settlement on the island of Thasos. The settlement is a popular tourist destination since the 1960s, with a 1.2 km long strand of beach (Stelakis Beach) and a number of smaller coves and pebbly beaches just to the west of the settlement next to the village of Trypiti (Τρυπητή), being the main tourist magnet for the locality. The village is also popular for tourists around the island for a visible view of the Holy Site of Mount Athos.

First thing wich you'll fall in love with are the people who are providing an absolute amazing service stacked all the times with little treats . The personnel there is very kind and warm and they really know how to bound connections and make you have a great time . I will definitely come back and surely recommend it.

After walking around the city of Limenaria we were in a mood for coffee and snacks, and decided on Ta Spie restaurant. We sat down in the outdoor area and ended up having a very pleasant lunch with great coffee, delicious crepes, both the adult and kid version, the coffee came with complementary cookies and we got very good service. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and had a great chat with the owner of this cafe. Be sure to visit when visiting Limenaria

We drove around the island and stopped at this great little beach called Pefkari It has easy access with plenty of parking and some tree shade. it is around a 40 minute drive from Golden Beach, but well worth a visit. It needs to be marketed more in order to be recognised.Pefkari is a pebble beach and with crystal clear water; it is excellent for swimming.We used the restaurant's sun loungers which were new this season and beach umbrella. There was no pressure here to keep buying drinks, although there is a clear sign stating that there is a small cover charge for using the loungers. We had several ice-cold beers and also a great, really well topped pizza at E9; plenty for two. You can have food served on the beach or in the rustic restaurant. The restaurant/bar is run by Elizabeth who is attentive and friendly. Great service also free Wi-Fi. Really worth stopping if you are out on a drive; we enjoyed it so much we returned for a second visit and had the pizza for lunch a second time!By the way, the toilet facilities were spotlessly clean.

We were for 1 day at Psili Amnos and decided to try the food at the Fish Taverna. We were amaized how fast the service was (we ordered 7-8 courses, including seafood). Also, the food was tasty enough (expecially 'scrumbia' - ordered a 2dn portion) and we got also good desert from the house aswell. Prices are moderate, so we highly recommed it, despite some bad review previous below!

We rented the apartment above this beach bar which was a perfect location. The beach bar itself was run by Nikos who was helpful and friendly and had the keys to the apartment as the owner was not available. Snacks, beer and music all very good. Staff were excellent and the sun loungers on the beach were free as long as a drink was bought. Seems to be the way in Greece now!
