We cam here twice because of the lovely view from the unpretentious shaded terrace, and also their delicious 'Green Lady' gin and tonic with cucumber and mint. But the staff could have been much more welcoming, especially on our second visit, and when we returned our 'Green Lady's were lacking the mint which had made them so special. No apology. A more personal service would have been much appreciated, and they were not efficient in serving their customers: it should not have been necessary to hike up to the bar for our second round.

We visited Ananasso Bar for lunch and a few drinks today. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. I ordered a pesto & tomato bruschetta (â¬5â¬) which was tasty and a good size. My wife ordered the pesto pinsa, sort of a cross between a focaccia and a pizza (â¬12). Again it was very tasty and probably for sharing really. There was quite a lot of oil from the pesto but it tasted very nice. Our drinks were nice. Prices were reasonable and there was no cover charge. Overall, a great place to people watch with a lovely view of the harbour in Vernazza. Thank you again and back to visit us

You feel the history of this place when you enter, besides internet and mobile phone reception not a lot has change in the last decades, local people here in the evening, music and drinks. a good place to stop. Experienced in low season late evening

My partner and I had a few drinks here before heading to dinner. The staff were lovely and accommodating, arranging a table outside for us when one wasnât available. They welcomed my change in alcohol to one of their existing cocktails, lovely fresh ingredients used in my London Mule. They also whipped up a decent cheese platter for us to share. Would go again.

Spending a hot day exploring the Cinque Terre we find ourselves in Corniglia at lunch time. After checking several menus we decide on La Scuna as much for the view as anything else. It's popular, the waiter said he will have a nice table for us in 5 minutes and he didn't disappoint. The beer and wine was served ice col, perfect. We ordered the mixed anti-pasto plate to share as Corniglia is famous for its anchovies (best pickled anchovies). Anyway the mixture of cold local meats and seafood was a fabulous slow meal on a hot summer afternoon. Can definitely recommend.

I called to ask for a table next to the water since it was my birthday. Turns out, all the tables offer excellent views of the water/sunset. Simone (host at front) was so gracious. Not a large menu but reasonably priced and good food. My waiter was kind and funny, despite the large crowds.

The perfect light lunch at our hike from Monterosso- Florence- the owner - so warm and friendly. Her family surrounds her with older grandchildren helping bus tables etc. Salad was delicious with a light honey dressing. We licked the plate clean:) the outdoor seating was lovely with a nice breeze and ocean view- no credit cards

We found this restaurant by following the main thoroughfare to the Corniglia viewpoint, and their outdoor seating is the southern part of the viewpoint terrace. You actually pass by the door on your way to the viewpoint. We got to the viewpoint and saw folks enjoying good looking food, and sat down. The service was great, and the food was as well. The view here is spectacular, if I had any complaints it would be the number of tourists flowing past at midday to enjoy the view making this spot a little less tranquil.
