I had heard that Giliâs was the new place to be in Chengdu for a pizza. So I was pretty keen to try the mushroom pepperoni pizza Brilliant. Exactly like I enjoy them - thin crust, great toppings. Perfection.

I really enjoyed anywhere in China I didn't have to push my way around. To top it off this place is beautifully decorated, has a roof top area and the food was good and the drinks were great. This is a nice beer bar, with plenty of elections for beers from around the world. While not as much selection as some Chengdu beer stores, like M99. There are plenty to pick from. And, for us expats, there are some kept in the refrigerator too, which is nice as it gets hot here in Chengdu. They also serve shaokao here too. Which is Chinese BBQ, or food on a stick. The beef was very good here as compared to some shaokao places. The staff is friendly, and helpful. Location is good, and there is outside seating too.
