We were warmly greeted by friendly staff early on Saturday morning. The restaurant has a nice ambience and is very clean and stylishly decorated. I opted for the eggs royal and my son got the small breakfast. I was brought a lovely pot of real tea, a refreshing change. The food is cooked to order so is very fresh. My eggs royal was delicious, very plentiful and packed with smoked salmon, very good value I thought. My son thoroughly enjoyed his breakfast, quality ingredients. Warm, professional and attentive staff, we will definitely be returning.

I’ve been here for food around 6-7 times now and at the start the food, especially the burgers, were great. However the last few visits including this week are becoming more disappointing. Don’t get me wrong they are still good but not what they were. Who made the decision to remove the coleslaw from the burgers. Silly move! Also there has previously been a list of great burgers but now it’s down to 2-3. People like variety. I feel the place is putting all its effort into nightlife and drinking and the food is suffering. You are on Winckley Street, this should be a great place for food and drinking with a more upper class feel and the places around you are doing this. Get the food back on track.

We had great food here and the service was really friendly. We had the Korean fried chicken and aubergine for starters (both lovely), chicken bimbimpap, pork bulgogi, and seafood udon stir fry. We liked everything but the seafood udon stir fry. It was nice but not as tasty as the other dishes. Def will come back here again! It was a pleasure serving you. Visited here's for the first time as they advertise Southern Indian food. The restaurant is looking a bit shabby, not much improvement since its previous incarnation. The hostess was friendly enough and helpful with the menu. There are only a few dishes that you don't find in the usual "Indian" and several chef's specials.Popadoms were a little stale I thought and came with 4 pickles. Our starters arrived promptly, we were the only ones dining. The vadas were homemade and the coconut sambal tasty. The obligatory bit of salad was pointless. Our mains, one fish and one beef, both with 'special sauces' were disappointing, not 'subtle and complex' as promised. The sauces were gravy-like with little refinement, I'm not sure that the meat had been cooked in it. The fish was tasty but again no real interest in the sauce. The chef did come and check everything OK.No real complaints but I left thinking there are much better places in Preston for this type of food.Prices a little on the high side for the standard..

Living locally, this was our second visit to this restaurant. Our first visit, a few months ago was great, the service, the staff, the food was excellent. Decided to have another evening meal there yesterday. (we have also used its take-away sevice)Once again enjoyed the evening, staff, service and food was great. I ordered a Phal - which was excellent. I also ordered a cucumer raita (not on the menu) - unfortunately the raita was not just right - however this was immediately dealt with and was replaced with an excellent raita - must give full marks for such service - it did not spoil the meal.Highly recommend this restaurant - they have a great choice of dishes. Toilet facilities are excellent, parking is not an issue, inside the restaurant - well designed, modern and a nice ambience. Also, meal-wise you get more than ample servings. Highly recommend the pickle tray as a starter (for sharing) he had poppadoms with it - also the Lime Pickle and Chilli Pickle are excellent (but you need to have liking for strong flavoured spices) - could not eat all of both - asked if I could have the remainder of both to take home - was not a problem - pickles put into pots to take home. This restaurant shall remain on our favourite list of places to eat.

The owner/chef has an obvious passion for the food he prepares and serves. The Turkish lamb ribs we had were succulent, delicately spiced and delicious. Served with your choice of Cajun spiced chips or pilau rice. Portion sizes are generous and prices keen. Thoroughly recommend.

The key thing here is that they offer two menus, two styles of cooking. The “English” menu is all the things we know, the Cantonese style food, the sweet & sours, black bean sauce, etc, etc. The “Chinese” menu offers the spices Szechuan style food found all over the north of China, and rarely available here. We loved it. Try the aubergine with minced pork, or French beans also with minced pork, or the lamb with cumin. But there are so many dishes to choose from, all freshly prepared; and a vast range of dim sun if that’s what you want. Not a salubrious restaurant, but great food - and that’s what we were there for. And we’ll return.

The decor is far more pleasant than many restaurants we have visited and the food matches its smart appearance. It was quite busy for a weekday so we were impressed that all our courses landed in a timely fashion. I don't think we could have managed another bite. The staff are pleasant and nothing is too much effort, they made our anniversary a lovely experience. Thanks. We will be sure to tell our friends
