Not great decorum there, but honest fresh products home made dishes , cooked on demand. No greasy gravy , but just the authentic taste of delicate vietnamese family recipes. Agreable terrace on the Bay of Lemons ( baie des citrons) , the trendiest beach in Noumea city. Affordable prices.

After several tries finally made it & was not disappointed. Good basic Chinese but not fantastic. Excellent service & no problem returning whenever we are in Noumea. Recommend spicy prawn soup & chicken with mushrooms. Siu mei a bit tasteless. Cantonese rice is huge bowl & only one size which is a bit strange . Not cheap but always consistent

Our business partner took us to this little take away Indonesian Joint at the Faubourg Blanchot Suburb. A nice blend of French ingredients with Indonesian flavors among their numerous dishes. Prices are fairly reasonable as expected in Nouméa and portions are copious. Very warm and friendly service.

Walked in mainly because we wanted to try Vietnamese food in New Caledonia, for a change, and the place has seats. This place was packed with locals the couple of times we walked past.Service was quick with no fuss. We were very quickly given English menu. They were closing but we did not feel rushed to finish our lunch.I am not very familiar with Vietnamese food but Pho was nice. The bun bo special was served with deep fried nem. The chargrilled meats was done so so well!!! The rice noodles was light and refreshing, just what I needed on a hot day walking around the city.

This restaurant is small and we walked past it not noticing. It is located by the Hilton Hotel. The interior is nothing flash, but a good causal place to dine. We ordered the chicken satay skewers to share for entrée, green chicken curry, rice and fish. All meals were of generous portion and delicious. Service was good and friendly

Visited this restaurant after walking past a number of nights. Really wish we had of kept walking.The restaurant is lovely, overlooking the beach & the staff are pleasant. However thatâs where the nicety ends.We ordered an entree of spring rolls & 2 main meals consisting of a chicken & a beef dish. Unfortunately the main meals were not edible AT ALL & we left without eating them. The beef dish had a flavour that can only be described as dishwashing liquid.The entire meal cost just over $150 Australian Dollars. Ridiculously overpriced expensive meal.

We had read that Boops was a good place to eat. On arriving we sat there rather uncomfortably for a little while before we were noticed. I guess they were busy but it felt awkward. The menu looked pretty ordinary,just the usual cafe offerings which in New Caledonia is not much;panini,crogue monsieur,hamburgers.We got served with difficulty due to the language barrier; we chose a dish we had seen others having which seemed to be the specialty of the day. It was dimsims with some rice, a little salad and soy sauce.The dimsims were like ones you buy frozen in a packet and microwave. It was a most ordinary dish and not cheap. I would say the food here is just ok but nothing special. The restaurant decor is pretty though.I am very sorry to read your comment. It is very important to us to please our customers We do have a very small menu as we dont have a kitchen to cook several dishes.I do apologize for that.and also if you had to wait to be servedThere is nothing much I can do about our chairs if you found them uncomfortable though.But we are very proud to serve fresh quality meals every dayWe do not have Hamburgers on our menu and the dim sim we serve every friday are cooked in a steam cooker.Feel free to introduce yourself next time you are in town and we will be happy to offer you any drink.

The food was appalling. The noodles were sugary and tasteless and the Pork croustillant consisted of uncrispy lumps of pork fat. Why did we not return them? Because we had been waiting over 1 hour for the food to arrive.

The food here has an authentic Japanese feel in both its cooking and presentation. You can sit at the grill for teppanyaki or sit in the main restaurant area, which is only small, at tables and chairs. They do have a traditional Japanese table in a separate room for a larger group. The restaurant offers single dishes or 'menus' in the European style. We have tried both single dish eating and the menu. Both were delightful.
