The food here has an authentic Japanese feel in both its cooking and presentation. You can sit at the grill for teppanyaki or sit in the main restaurant area, which is only small, at tables and chairs. They do have a traditional Japanese table in a separate room for a larger group. The restaurant offers single dishes or 'menus' in the European style. We have tried both single dish eating and the menu. Both were delightful.

This restaurant serves Japanese food. It was quite delicious. We had seafood sushi followed by a special dish which was tappanaki. The food was very fresh and nice.

Première visite chez Sô Sushi : nous avons consommé sur le tapis roulant. Les sushis sont bons - sans être pour autant exceptionnels - et l'addition était au final plutôt salée : environ 7500 frs pour deux personnes. Donc : attention aux couleurs des assiettes, car les prix varient ! C'est d'ailleurs assez déstabilisant quand on compare avec les japonais avec tapis que l'on trouve en métropole, et où tout est à volonté... Au moment de payer, nous avons découvert qu'il était possible de commander des plateaux d'assortiments à manger en terrasse : il y a alors beaucoup plus en quantité, et les prix sont plus raisonnables... dommage que l'on ne nous ai pas prévenu de cela dès notre arrivée. Par la suite, nous avons commandé à 4 ou 5 reprises des plateaux, qui nous ont été livrés directement à la maison... même si les frais de livraison sont en sus, nous trouvons là notre bonheur, avec des sushis plutôt bons (en tout cas nous n'en avons pas encore trouvé de meilleurs sur Nouméa) et un service à domicile !
