My extended family (2Sr.Citizens, 4 Adults, 2 kids) and self visited this property for Breakfast during our trip to Mysore in December. We had the following items from the MenuPongal, Benne Masala Dosa, Ghee Dosa, Idly, Vada, Kesari Baath, Kaara Baath & CoffeeStrengths:-1. Clean restaurant serving tasty vegetarian food2. Friendly and supportive staff3. Great place for South Indian food and Coffee loversAreas of improvement1. They accept only cash2. Parking could be a challenge if you are coming post 9 A.M.

I took some foreign friends.here and it was a fun experience, especially the pani puri. Cannot fully claim that they liked the food. The barbecue water melon and pineapple was weird to them and I am with them on this especially the water melon. We went on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. The place is very small and too many people were standing in queue near your table. So the moment you get up from your table someone else will sit. No time even to clean the Table. Food is really tasty and so nice. Worth visiting when there is no rush

I'd been hearing of this place for ages and finally decided to pay a visit. While their dosas are tasty, the restaurant is totally lacking in other merits. It is cramped, dingy and has poor service. You may have to stand waiting for quite a while just to get a seat.Not recommended for families.

How did this become top pick??? Manipulation of some sort!!!!A reminder, read and believe the bad reviews. We visited this restaurant reading only the good reviews. Mistake.I broke the first two rules...eat where the locals eat and clean bathrooms.The men's bathroom was out of order and the women's bathroom was gross. There were no locals...only a few tourists who believed the reviews.The food...well...come morning, my wife was nauseous and I was vomiting.Enough said.Read and believe the bad reviews for all restaurants regardless of where they are located.

We had multiple meals from Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner at the La Uppu. The variety of food was both a good mixture of South Indian local and Indian foods.
