Went with wife & 2 kids. About 1km from the beach up the main street. Went for dinner and what a great setting. Was like in a little village restaurant. Very relaxing. Ordered chicken satay, deep fried prawns, prawn papaya salad, chicken penang curry, prawn in curry & chicken garlic & pepper with a few large beers and softdrink. The food was absolutely amazing full of flavour, absolutely tasty & all for $56aud. Highly recommend if visiting Ao Nang, you wont regret it.

As we came to Krabi we looked for a nice hidden restaurant that serves both Thai and European cuisine. The Gecko Cabane turned out to be an excellent choice. Nice open setting under a roof with a very personal decoration. Amazing are the heavy wooden chair and table. The staff is extremely friendly. The owner took the time to explain us the menu in detail. You can choose spiciness on a scale from 1 to 10. We picked 2 and 3. Good choices for middle European tastes. We had the red curry, red curry with pineapples, stored garlic pork, and a chicken breast. All excellent choices. We would defiantly come back.

We were casually looking for a restaurant to have dinner and fortunately we went in Chalita Cafe & Restaurant. The music and environment were really nice as well as the food. Also the waiters were super friendly and it had a fair price. What a good surprise!

This off the beaten path restaurant was amazing. As soon as we got there, to felt like this unassuming restaurant was a good place to eat. The food is delicious and the staff are really helpful when selecting the best dishes. Theres even insect repellent sprays on your table. Definitely go here again. Really reasonably priced and free wifi too.

Family of 4 had a lovely dinner here. Friendly tentative staff, great ambience. A big shout to Marina who waited on us. Food was great. Excellent lobster soup, chicken green & penang curry. Flavoursome meals, even the kids pastas were tasty & all meals well presented. Highly recommend dining here, great food. Only issue & a minor issue for some is the restaurant is rather pricey. Weâve been eating out at Sa-ing every day since arriving. The cat is hilarious, the Pad Thai is finger licking along with coconut milk dishes and the people that run this place are amazing . Oh and the sunset is like youâve never seen before Sawatdii Ka Thank you so much for all your visits to Sa-ing Restaurant and Bar whilst you were here on your vacation.
