Where to eat American food in Cardiff: The Best Restaurants and Bars

June 6, 2020 Cedrick Jardin

Find out what American restaurants to try in Cardiff. The Welsh capital may have begun its life as a Roman fort, but it's since become a bustling city. Where the fort once stood, Cardiff Castle has held court since the 11th century. It remains a central presence in the city, now full of lively art and music venues, hip boutiques, fun bars and modern hotels. Even with so many new and exciting things to see, the National History Museum is still the most visited attraction in Wales. Don't be the only visitor who plays hooky!

I don’t often frequent bars but today was different as me and a group of friends decided to head into Revolution for some cocktails to drown our sorrows after the rugby result. Now as someone that is usually a beer drinker, I decided to go for a cocktail and the ‘Russian Spy’ was the one I went for as I have a bit of a sweet tooth, the bar was exceptionally busy but the wait was over before it even began, and I was confronted by the lovely ‘Nelly’, who made sure I knew about Happy Hour, and gave me the option between dairy and non-dairy. She served me with a smile, delivered some amazing cocktails and I will be spreading the word from now on! Thank you Revolution.Hi Paulturner33, thank you for your review and for letting us know how we did! It's great to hear you had a great time with us and I do hope we see you again very soon. Have a great day!
