My friend and I went to Richmond Village wellness spa as she had received a spa day birthday present. I joined her as she wanted some company. We were welcomed by the team and shown to our lockers, where we could leave our handbags and coats et cetera and we’re offered dressing gowns and slippers. We were then taken to a private room, where we were given a glass of bubbles and tidbits to nibble on. We were then taken to the area of the spa where people go for manicures etc. I had the most exceptional manicure I have ever had; it was simply wonderful! My friend had a pedicure and found the same. We then retreated to our private room, where we were served a fairly simple but Very nice afternoon tea. It was delightful. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and I think we will go back on a regular basis. Don’t hesitate!

Just returned from a lovely relaxing spa day at the Minster Mill. Beautiful location and grounds. Friendly, informative spa staff- spa was small but relaxing- was only 4 using it this morning (10 max allowed). The pool, sauna and rainforest shower were fab, steam room was great but would be enhanced if aromatherapy oils were used. My daughter and I both had 60 minute treatments which included back, facial and scalp- these were tailor made and very enjoyable (my daughter said it was the best she had ever had!). After the spa we were warmly welcomed into the restaurant with a refreshing glass of prosecco followed by a tasty and beautifully presented 2 course lunch. Only suggestion would be hooks for hanging towels/gowns next to showers and steam rooms and it's a shame the changing room wasn't designed to be larger (was a bit of a corridor with one shower). Otherwise a very lovely day and good value :)
