This is an awful place and I wouldn't go in there without a bullet proof vest. I surely wouldn't eat or drink anything at this place. Always smokers hanging out in front of the door. Nasty.

For residents of Monmouth the opening night is $10 for each play. The acting is very good and amazes me every time. The old charm of the building is unique. I have to say, I did dress up and everyone else was in jeans....Thanks, Liz! Our $10 Monmouth Resident tickets are actually for our Preview Performances which are the first Thursday night in every run.

We spent over three hours touring this outstanding museum and learned a lot bout the State of Maine. It was a very informative and educational experience. It is very well laid out to show the history and the making of Maine. I would recommend this museum to anyone even if you are not a native Mainer.

At Mahala's Day Spa you will receive exceptional spa treatments and customer service, without having to pay a premium price. As a spa regular, you won't have to worry about a constant revolving door with the staff that you would find at other poorly managed spa's-- a reflection of the high quality of person the owner/operator, Hiedi Hayden is. You can look forward to seeing the same friendly staff each time you go.

I have had spa services throughout Maine, and traveling throughout the U.S., Mexico, and Canada and feel fortunate that minutes from home I can receive the highest quality spa services at a reasonable price.

We have been here many times to launch our kayaks and just enjoy the scenery and wildlife. The pond connects with two other ponds and a stream, making for either a long or short kayak. Loons, eagles, herons, fish, and ospreys can be enjoyed along the way.

We have walked this trail many times & always enjoy the river views! The bikers usually are always courteous! Ringing their bell acknowledges to us that they are about to pass when they approach behind us. The view of the river gives everyone a better education! I have now learned about how far inland the tide affects the river, watched eagles catch fish & watch the protected sturgeons jump! It really is a great place to be outside!

Beech Hill X-Country Ski & Snowshoe Center

Reviewed By MaineHo_Da - Lewiston, Maine

My wife and I enjoyed a day of snowshoeing, tramping the six miles of wooded, rolling terrain on a cold winless day after a blizzard. The warming hut was nicely stocked with diversions, including a group-effort puzzle for this year's visitors and--just what she needed--reading glasses. The 'comfort stations' were clean and supplied. We don't own snowshoes, but Mr. Patell loaned them for free. An inexpensive, beautiful day.

This is a wonderful little loop trail up to a civil war veterans monument in Leeds. The climb is very doable in any season and the view is worth it. Would be a great spot for a picnic. Parking is along the edge of the North road. Not a great as a destination, but instead shines as an “along the way” adventure.

Recently visited this place in Aug of 2017. Dirty small enclosures. They breed their lions. The wolf enclosure was boarded off and I peeked between the boards. One of the wolves had its ears covered in flys and eaten off. The State of Maine should be ashamed of itself for letting this go on.
