What to do and see in Windsor, Canada: The Best Things to do Good for Big Groups

September 10, 2021 Velvet Mowry

Many tourists know Windsor for its casino. But if you dig a little deeper, you’ll find fascinating history here. (Apparently Al Capone liked his Canadian Club.) In summer, catch the enormous fireworks display at the International Freedom Festival.

Wow! We were looking for a fun night out that was a little different and this totally fit the bill! The host was fantastic and the escape room challenging. We did “The Man in the Corner” and it provided just enough creepy factor to keep us wondering what would happen next. We are already planning our next visit to try a different room!

I've been to this park many times over the years and each time I go there I always get some ice cream and stroll around to see everything. I enjoy looking at the flowers, topiaries and the floating water fountain in the Detroit River. I find this park to be peaceful. There were even people there taking family and graduation photos with the river or the flowers/topiaries in the background.

What a beautiful theatre! The seating is tiered & staggered so no big heads in front of you blocking the view. Nice to have the refreshment area adjacent to the theatre too. We saw the St Clair Christmas production put on by the Music Theatre Performance students and it was beyond expectations! The band, the performers, the music was all so professional and wonderfully enjoyable!!
