I'm really glad I booked with Richard's Tours and certainly wasn't dissapointed! I had other things on in the morning so with short notice, Richard responded to agree a meet in the afternoon and he was bang on time. He was presentable, amiable and down to earth. It was immediately obvious that he was very keen to share his well researched knowledge, which was reassuring given that having paid for a private tour, I was getting a lot more than an off the shelf group tour (from what others have described to me). Born a Londoner and more than familiar with the area, he regularly checked that the tour pace was comfortable to ensure I was happy with the 3 hour route. He was very helpful with fotos and encouraged questions and discussions on this still mysterious subject, which is pretty clear that he's personally interested in, so much so that in the short time, not only did I acquire a lot of knowledge, but he's actually perked my own interest in Jack The Ripper! Although some parts of the area are still dodgy, I felt completely at ease being with Richard, who increasingly came across as more of a friendly local rather than a tour guide, and despite the atrocious weather, the 3 hours passed well beyond my expectations given his abilities - so excellent value for money. In conclusion, I should add that I'm also from London, but Richard's Tours aren't just for tourists, so if you're short on time and want a knowledgeable host, then Richard Chambers is your man. I, for one, will be checking out his other tours!

We had booked with International Friends for our excursion after our big trans Atlantic cruise in June of 2020. Of course due to the pandemic, that cruise was cancelled. Of all the vendors we worked with International Friends is the only one that was responsive and worked with us to rebook for June of 2021. We lost a lot of money on other bookings because I didn’t realize they had a no refund policy. So now due to the continuing pandemic, our June 2021 cruise has been cancelled and of all our bookings International Friends is the only one that is working with us for a refund. We didn’t rebook another cruise because we don’t know what is going to happen. When we do we will be using International Friends for all of our London excursions, I have learned my lesson! I highly recommend them!

I have used other transportation services from Heathrow to my hotels before visiting London, but this has been the best so far! As soon as I arrived in the airport terminal my driver Paulo greeted me, it was so easy to locate him which was a relief. Expedia booked the incorrect travel dates that I was arriving and advised me to cancel and re book again myself online, I explained to the rep I was having difficulty locating a private transfer suitable for my needs especially with Covid still running rampant. Instead I decided to call City transfers myself and there staff changed everything that expedia screwed up. I didn't have to cancel re book anything as Expedia advised me to do. I even received a courtesy phone call the day before my departure to confirm my details again. I also received text message when my drivers had arrived. Extremely great service, definitely new fav for private transportation when visiting in the UK!

I went to Cutty Sark for a touristy day out as it has a very prime location in Greenwich. The interior is lovely but the prices are way off! Even though the history is important, it dragged on for long and became disinterested very quickly. The only good bit is when you reach the top of the ship which overlooks The Thames and the rest of Greenwich but wasn't worth all that money I spent on my family and myself. Wouldn't recommend for families for a fun day out, go to Greenwich market and park instead!
