Set in the glorious Wiltshire countryside close to the medieval City of Salisbury, both of the downland courses offer magnificent views for miles around. The testing Cathedral 18 hole layout has been in play since 1991 carefully combining holes from the Old course and new ones built in 1989, and the easier going Bibury 9 hole from the early 1900s.

Highly recommended for non-golfers who want to have a fun day out and made even better by the top tracer technology that tracks your progress on the range. With the added technology it helped a novice like me build upon my skills by giving accurate insights into my swings. The golf centre itself was very welcoming, with some great spaces to sit and hang out after our session. The owners and staff were incredibly helpful, making sure we had what we needed and were on hand to answer any questions.

Bassett Down is a really solid enjoyable 9 hole and a great driving range which includes Top Tracer ball tracking technology which makes range sessions 100% more enjoyable especially with friends. But what really sets BD apart for me is the service offered by the ladies who seem to run everything certainly at the weekend, Their fantastic, pro active, friendly they even offer a waitress service to your range bay, easily the most friendly attentive golf course I’ve ever played at. Great work ladies.
