The Tanyard

Great Pub in the centre of Skibbereen town. A great selection of gin and the barman Dermot was very friendly and informative. We were there for the acoustic sessions in the main bar on the Sunday evening. Great vibe and good banter with the locals. A must visit if you are visiting West Cork!

The Secret Garden is modern oasis in our bustling city. A fairy tale for grown-ups, an outdoor nightclub. The Secret Garden is a magical place that has to be seen to be believed. Think Alice in Wonderland meets Narnia and that might give you a clue as to what to expect. One thing is for sure; it is a venue that you will never forget!

Electric

Electric is a space that approaches nightlife differently, comprising of a bar, restaurant, arcade and club all rolled into one! The venue is a liberated party space to come together and dance the old-fashioned way - to celebrate, innovate and be part of the legacy of partying in The West. You can journey through the different levels of the club from the Glasshouse to the Garden to the main floor. There’s a different vibe and a different party to be found in each unique area! And now Electric have expanded so you no longer have to wait until 11pm to enter the venue. Electric are offering games and good times from the early evening in their arcade bar. You’ll be able to bash some buttons with classic video games like Space Invaders and Donkey Kong, compete for the title of King or Queen of the pinball machine, or have a full-on dance-off on the mammoth dance machine.
