Forster Racing School

Leo showed us how to ride the quad bikes, performed some tests and then we chased him around the meadow and forest trails, allowing us to gain speed and expertise as he saw fit. Great fun and highly recommend. PS it was just after Covid lockdown and sensible precautions were being taken: no worries there.

I have been training here for over 2 years now and I can honestly say I have gotten more out of it than I ever could have imagined. I have taken classes with Simon, Adam and Sifu Paul and love them all. The balance of martial arts/self defence with a general sense of community, fun, friendliness and respect is perfect for me. I couldn't recommend the school more.

I have now attended three zoom classes, all great. The first was quilling and the second was florentine tapestry, neither of which I had done before and the third was a getting to know your sewing machine refresher. I loved learning new skills and Sarah explains things brilliantly and with great patience. These Wednesday evening classes have been a real highlight of the week. It all runs really efficiently and the kits arrived in good time and were very reasonable as were the courses. The sewing machine refresher was informative and solved some burning questions I had! Thank you Sarah for brightening up lockdown! I would highly recommend these courses and Made and Making.

We had a fantastic time this past Saturday with David where we learned how to cut glass and transform shapes into beautiful ornamental decorations. David is extremely gifted, and we feel so lucky to have a piece of his knowledge passed down to us. The instructions David gave were clear and informative, and we came away with 4 ornaments that we will treasure forever - we were surprised with what we achieved! We also felt so welcome and comfortable with David, once the demo was over he let us get on with it but was always there to answer our questions too. Meanwhile, it was fascinating to watch him work on his own projects and ask him questions about his art as well! It was an eye opening experience for both me and my partner. We honestly could not think of a better way to spend a morning - David's workshop is in such a beautiful setting, and you can truly get lost in watching the surroundings through the window as you work on your pieces. Not to mention he makes the best tea! We definitely want to go back and do some more courses with David, perhaps the stained glass next time! Do not hesitate to book!
