Bopiliao Ancient Street

Reviewed By MTWT1416 - Hong Kong, China

I found this ancient street from a tour guide book and ventured out with the family by following the map and instructions. The ancient street is very nearby the Longshan Temple and Longshan MRT Station and about a quick 10 minute walk around the old neighbourhood takes us to the Bopiliao ancient street. The ancient street was preserved by the Taipei Mayor in 2009 to preserve its more than hundreds years of history maintained from the Qing Dynasty and one of the earliest establishment of the Old Taipei City that connects DanShui River that helped with the vibrancy of the city. The city has done a wonderful job preserving the ancient street with many free activities by artists and fun games for children to participate. I even think this could be a perfect venue for some wedding photo shooting.
