We called in for a tea and cake on a wet afternoon. What a delightful place. Lovely pot of real tea and yummy cakes beautifully served with china teapot, cups and plates. A family were painting mugs and clearly enjoying themselves, unfortunately as we were only passing through we didn’t have time to join them. It’s a tiny place on 3 floors and they might do better to make it clear outside that there is plenty of seating, and they don’t do only takeaways.

Great atmosphere, delightful staff, wonderful environment and fabulous gin! Only thing that would improve it is for it to be able to be bigger, like the tardis! Love this place, always a good time.

The Lamb Arcade

Wallingford tea rooms were a by chance discovery after an enjoyable browse round the wide variety of antiques in the Lamb arcade last Saturday afternoon. Newly sited in the courtyard at the back it was a lovely space to enjoy and the grilled goats chese and bettrot salad a mouthwatering treat. All served on beautifully laid tables with pleasant and attentive young staff. Thankyou
