The park may be worth visiting, but it is so hard to get it done.
There are too many hurdles that one needs to overcome before one can join one of the expensive excursions (unless you are a local). Virtually nothing is written in an other language than Spanish except for the prices. It is clear that foreigners must pay much more. The guides only speak Spanish. It would be fair if the foreigner at least gets English in return for the much higher fee.

Como todo ahi en el parque, este Cañon muestra todo su esplendor al los visitantes que concurren al legar.

We were the first group, after some days we the canon was closed due to rains and snow. You wil, learn haw the world was and evolve some millions years ago, and you will feel like it wa yesterday.

Giovedì 8 marzo - Dopo essere stati in albergo a rinfrescarci e cenare, alla sera ci rechiamo nel centro della città per visitare questa chiesa costruita negli anni 1930. Relativamente moderna è stata edificata con uno stile coloniale spagnolo rivisitato, brutta copia dello stile originale. Non possiamo visitarla e fotografarla come desideriamo perchè è in corso la Messa,ma per quello che possiamo vedere ci pare abbastanza singolare e bruttina.

Giovedì 8 marzo - Entriamo nella piazza dopo aver visitato la parrocchia Nostra Signora del Rosario. Alla sera la piazza si riempie di bambini e ragazzi che giocano, adulti che chiacchierano seduti a prendere il fresco della sera. Piazza molto alberata con al centro l'immancabile busto dedicato al "libertador". Ci siamo seduti anche noi ed abbiamo trascorso un tempo piacevole prima di tornare in albergo.

Sabato 10 Marzo - Prima di allontanarci da Villa Union ci rechiamo a veder il grande bacino della città: Importante opera idraulica costruita negli anni 1970, che raccoglie acqua in special modo per l'agricoltura ma anche per fornire acqua alla città, oggi è usata solo come luogo per camminare e pescare. Raccomandata la visita.
