Since 2003, SurfMilfontes is the 1st Surf School in Vila Nova de Milfontes. We provide surf lessons (group & private), accommodation and we also have a local surf shop. You can visit our beach house at Praia do Malhão, where we give our lessons. The surf lessons includes all the equipment, insurance, certified instructors and transportation to the beach. Our hostel, named Hike & Surf Lodge, is located in the center of Vila Nova de Milfontes, near to the shop where the check-ins and check-outs are done. SW SUP Stand Up Paddle School in Alentejo is dedicated to the practice and teaching of Stand Up Paddle (SUP) in the area of ​​Vila Nova de Milfontes and Odemira. Come and make a Baptism/Experience of sup ,a Tour on the River Mira, a SUP WAVES Lesson or try our BIG SUP with a group of friends or family and start discovering a new experience in a unique environment, in full harmony with nature. We are a certified school by the Portuguese SURF federation and a company registered on the Tourism of Portugal and recognized as Nature Tourism.

Enjoy yourself and enchant yourself with Mira River, the less polluted river in Europe, up or down the river on a KAYAK or SUP TOUR. Routes of 3, 6 or 13 km, always in only one direction and accompanied by a monitor. Transfer from the arrival to the departure is assured by us and is included in the price of the activity. On the beach: Kayaks and SUP rentals. In the waves: Surfski (kayak).

After many years as a surfer and as a surf teacher I created the Club Vagabond, which is the result of a great network of friends, travelers, surfers, yogis and locals that I have met along the years. In our new location, right on the dunes, you can find a beautiful co-working space and book classes in our surfschool. We only work with super small groups max. 6 persons and experienced teachers.

The essence of this school is the proximity, friendship, sustainability, security and passion for the sea. With an ever-present surf culture we try to pass it on in our surf lessons / sessions / experiences to all who come to us. We have an offer of classes for all levels and ages, we have available various types of experiences for those who have never felt the surf and even for those who want to make an unforgettable Surftrip.
