We went to the track for a friend's get together. They had rented a suite and had it catered. Food: smoked salmon and cream cheese, prosciutto, desserts, veggie platter. The food was very nice. And the venue is spectacular!! We were just at the Kentucky Derby and I have to say I enjoy this smaller venue. And with the backdrop of the north shore, it's stunning. It was a beautiful day in sunny Vancouver. Sunshine, wine, horses and wiener dog races. Best day ever!!

We live on Vancouver Island so when taking an early flight walk on ferry and take Blue Bus from Horseshoe Bay then Skytrain from downtown to River Rock. Very convenient. Nice clean hotel . Easy in morning to get Skytrain to YVR

While staying at the River Rock Casino, May provided an Absolute Relaxing Massage which helped to heal my muscles. She provided fantastic customer service, kind and friendly and I recommend her to anyone visiting the Absolute Spa in Richmond!

Good table games with good blackjack. Pays 2 to 1 with 5 dollar minimums and lots of rooms at tables. The match eatery has good food aswell with great drinks. A fun time.

Once or twice a month 4 to 8 of us will meet at the casino, and play the slots. My wife and I have a limit of 20 bucks each. We socialize and mingle, but then head to the races upstairs just before post time. Again we keep our bets low, And quite often break even. We get a cheap, but tasty burger from the casino, and bring it up to the track. All total, we will spend about 5 hours there, and maybe an hour at the flea market before then during the summer. It is an excellent fun time with friends from all over the lower mainland that otherwise we do not visit with enough, but traffic is light on Sundays, and that is when we meet. It is so much better for us anyway, to be able to move around this large complex,ma's opposed to just sitting the whole time. Beautiful horses too, and worth a visit or two to the race course outside, so as to hear the thunder of the smilies coming down the stretch. One last thing of note; the staff everywhere, casino and at Silks are super friendly, and courteous.

We played a show in the lounge of this casino and it was great. We ate poke bowls and tried a couple of beers ????. I noticed that the security is very tight and very professional which is good to see in a casino. The staff was very professional yet very friendly, the venue was in a great location and was clean and pleasant. I had to spend some time in the bathroom doing my make up and hair and I couldn’t help but notice how frequently the cleaning lady was in to check the soap, paper towel, cleanliness etc.

We are not big gamblers, we have been to Vegas but have never been to Chances even though we live in Maple Ridge. Wanted to go someplace different for dinner so we thought we could make an evening out of it at the casino. The food was very good and we spent a couple hours on the slots, broke even so it was a good time. Will be back.

We have gone on many occassions and enjoyed the harness racing with a wonderful buffet and the casino just down the stairs. Racing season is awesome! We do drop by after curling on Friday evenings and wander about playing the slots and having a quick lunch. Go and catch the races!

I recently spent 7 nights at the J.W. Parq Vancouver, I can truly say without hesitation that my experience from prior to arriving at the Hotel to my check out was beyond any expectation I had imagined. Staff were friendly and competent, rooms and amenities well maintained and during COVID-19 well sanitized. Joon Lee from the front desk really made the 7 days incredible, any concern or question we had he thoroughly answered with thoughtful responses, seeing his passion and work ethic for what he does in such turbulent times made the entire experience sensational. Thank you Joon. Needless to say, we will definitely be returning to the Parq as it has become my favourite luxury hotel within Canada. - Sebastian
