Taurus Mountains range is a 800 metre long along the Turkey starting west of Antalya and ends in Adıyaman. The peak of range is called Demirkazık 3756 metre and it is located in Demirkazık village near Camardı Town of Nigde. Overland Travel orgsnises small group private tours or group tours in Taurus mountains and you can stay in nice camp sites 7 nights and do trekking and traverse the mountain from west to north. The mountain has a national park called Aladaglar and it has wonderful lakes on the pleateu. pleatau is called yedi goller seven lakes. Our group aged 25-50 started the hike from the Beycik village (we got there by a taxi). The elevation of the Tahtali mountain is 2365 m. The altitude range between the top and the Beycik is about 1300 m, and the hiking distance is about 8 km long. We have reached the top for 5 hours. The landscapes are amazing. During the hiking we saw many Lebanon cedars: the trees known by their historical and cultural importance in countries of Middle East. The return trip was by a cable car. I recommend the trip for all who like the moderate mountain hiking.

Cool view even with the clouds! Just a little bit more crowded than I like, but it’s worth it. Nice and not too expensive cafe up there ☺️
