We split out sitgo tour and cruise across two days and couldnt have been happier with the experience. Our SitGo guides where extremely patient with the nervous ones within the group, and the tour itself was through old town, slightly tricky to navigate but really interesting and a lot of fun! Our boat tour was 1hr, plenty time to relax and enjoy but definitely wouldnt have said no to a slightly longer trip! The two hosts on board were incredibly attentive and the boat itself was really well maintained, All round excellent experience, and top value for money!

Pedro was a brilliant, friendly guide with a warming smile and a genuine, contagious passion for Lisbon. The tour was full of amazing, iconic landscapes and sights. We loved dwelling into Mouraria, feeling Lisbon’s heartbeat and drinking ginjinha liqueur with a local, right at her doorstep. Loved it! ❤️ The tour exceeded all our expectations and we definitely recommend it.

My fiancé and I wanted a unique experience different from seeing city landmarks in Lisbon. We caught the little ferry at 930 am and enjoyed a beautiful short cruise across to Trafaria where Fernanda and Ruben were waiting with bikes for us. They were both incredible...we feel like we made friends immediately and could come back to Lisbon/Trafaria just to hang out! The bike tour took us along an off-road route high above the sea that offered gorgeous views. We then traveled down through a beautiful field lined with trees on a dirt trail and stopped at the wild fig trees and gorged ourselves with sweet fruit from nature. Then we headed to the coast where we stopped to eat at a local place that offered us the most amazing octopus dish and other local delicacies washed down with a local sweet white wine. Ruben knew all the locals and took us thru tiny villages, including his own, of fisherman’s houses tightly clustered and brightly decorated. At every corner we were greeted with smiles and Ruben chatted with friends and neighbors while Fernanda gave us history and other interesting facts. Because we were headed west to surf we didn’t stop to swim in the clear waters off Costa Caparica, but had the opportunity. The electric bikes made the hills and off road portions easy. By the end of the trip as we said our fair wells and boarded the ferry to get our rental car back, We felt could have just as easily stayed and imagined ourselves hanging out with Ruben and Fernanda in their neighborhood on the beach for barbecue, surfing waves, and beers! Five stars for a really unique and outside of the box tour! Our ride was not set up for yoga but I see that listed now, so next time we have to do that too! I could imagine some gorgeous settings for a yoga session along the way!!!

5. Bike, Beach & Seafood

VARINA Community-based Tourism, Praceta Porto de Lisboa, 2825-879 Trafaria, Portugal Varina

This experience is for foodies! Our experiences have been telling us that foodies are everywhere and able to get know some local and traditional spots by bicycle. Trafaria & Costa da Caparica are very famous because of its fish. Both are next to the sea and have that typical way of being enjoying the table and that´s why we created this activity. We will visit very local places to taste the most authentic tidbits next to the beach. Every single spot was choosen because of its food and stories related with our communities. As a community-based tourism initiative we will take you to small businesses, very local and familiar places to eat their specialties.

Inclusions: More than 5 tidbits for tasting, please, bring your canteen or bottle of water!, Coffee and/or Tea, non-alcoholic beverages, some wine or beer
