We happened upon this very special museum when we entered Marunouchi Brick Square and decided to view the current exhibition, which was "All About Mariano Fortuny." It did not disappoint! The historic red-brick building is a wonder in itself. Such a pleasure to walk through the rooms showcasing the exhibition. Easy to navigate, with the fashion and art beautifully displayed. There is also a lovely shop and a charming café. Also, right outside the museum, in Brick Square, are several restaurants and cafés. Definitely worth a visit!

Great view , very well organised with lots of tourists , great lift ride to the top , amazing views , robot talks to crowd and info about architect etc .. staff very professional and uniforms very cute !

I went to Tokyo again this year and had a check list of things I didn’t do on my previous trips. The imperial palace was on it and after a trip to the tsukiji market I took a nice walk to the palace. It’s really very beautiful and all the nice old buildings are a must see. Sadly some party were under construction and since it was summer it was super hot. I just walked through this place on my way to go to Ginza from Tokyo station. The design of the architecture was amazing and spent about 20 minutes for taking some photos.

We took the Shinkansen bullet train from Nagano and disembarked at this station. Opened in 1914, the station has been recently renovated to a beautiful grand colonial building in striking red brick. It is connected to many shopping malls via underground passages.

We attended our daughter's Shinto wedding ceremony at this beautiful shrine last week. It is an oasis in the middle of a crazy busy city. I listened carefully, no sound of the city penetrated the peaceful gardens. The Shinto priests were so incredibly kind and helpful during the ceremony. The shrine staff helped all of us guests throughout the event. Our daughter and son-in-law had helpers for every stage. Two women helped our daughter with her makeup, hair, and getting into the beautiful kimono. I definitely recommend it if you would like a peaceful, serene interlude during your time in Tokyo.

I went before the sunsets, so I managed to get 2 different views of daylight and night view, it is really a must go, the views is fantastic and worthwhile and i can say it is worth a million dollar view night scenery if you really cannot afford too much time. the building has a lot of food and shopping below which you can spend few hours . I have hours of wow wow , impressed by the various views 360degrees and big glass panel and transparent glass flooring, etc, etc
