Thornbury Antique Market

Reviewed By 383kathyr - Mississauga, Canada

Found some really good deals and some beautiful well priced Antiques. It took a couple hours to walk entire market, especially if you go into each room and look in all the corners. Some gems that I found I hunted for, but am so pleased I did. The proximity to Downtown Thornbury and restaurants was within 2 km.

Axed

Reviewed By magnolia2010

Melissa at Axed was very accommodating to our last minute mid-morning booking for our family of four. Our 17 year old daughter was the lead in choosing this 'cool' event, to compensate for a rained out ski day. And, crazy but true - with no age restrictions, our 4.5 year old boy was able to be part of the fun! Instruction on safety and technique was very effective. Melissa was awesome with all ages, very personable and energetic. We'd go again just for the competition...now that we know how to get the bullseye!

The Fishway

Reviewed By Lyndburger - Brampton, Canada

Visited in November after the main run of Salmon had finished. We didn't see the main run but the fish we did see were pretty exciting. If you want to see the fish you have to keep your eyes on the base of the ladder for a few minutes as the fish jump lasts only a second and they rest between tries. There are lots of great vantage points to see the ladder from a few different angles. The area is really pretty so it's nice to come here for a look, stroll around or ride your bike, grab a snack or meal and browse the shops. Lots of benches and lawn around for picnicking too.

The Golf Club at Lora Bay

Nestled in the Blue Mountains on the shores of Georgian Bay, there could be no better place o play the game you love, especially when the game is being played on a 7,100 yard championship layout, co-designed by PGA Tour professional Tom Lehman and Canada's premier golf course architect Thomas McBroom.

Elopement Location on the beach at Lora Bay is ideal for intimate ceremonies. Beautiful waterfront backdrop with mountain views and stunning fall foliage. Bring your officiant and photographer and you're all set.
