We had a fantastic day out today to celebrate a special birthday covid safe style in small family group. We found beautiful and well cared for birds, wonderful knowledgeable staff, great flying displays and the highlight was flying the Harris hawk hands on in the lovely parkland. Totally recommend the birds of prey centre for a great and good value day out.

Another a beautiful stroll in the place so dear to the hearts of our family. Great facilities for families, and enjoyed a picnic in beautiful surroundings before taking in the stunning views across the Vale of Thirsk.

I visited yesterday for the first time with my 2 year old and almost 4 year old. We had a fabulous few hours and would definitely recommend a visit here! It is a great size to be able to see children at all times and at the time of our visit (Monday morning) was extremely quiet. The food and drinks are lovely, basic food menu of sandwiches, toasties, mini pizzas, cakes, chocolate bars etc but all reasonably priced and what children (and Mummies!) like to eat. The whole place is kept so clean and tidy. The two ladies were amazing and were cleaning everything so thoroughly, plates were instantly cleared away from the tables when they were finished with and the floors, tables, high-chairs were all immaculate. Unfortunately, my little girl had an accident whilst we were there and split her lip. The two ladies were so kind, helpful and reassuring and helped to make my little one feel much happier.Thank you so much, I was really grateful. We will definitely be back soon and will recommend to others : )
