Phang Nga Bay.

Phang Nga is famous for spectacular scenery with limestone cliffs rising out of green water. There are caves, lagoons and tiny secluded beaches awaiting discovery.

Reviewed By davidjH1345FA - Bengaluru, India

Phanga Nga Bay is a visual treat for all your senses. A boat trip through the waters to various islands in this Bay is a must do activity. I did a big-boat tour through BJ Canoe agency and they take you to various islands like James Bond island, Hong Island, Panak island etc. Kayaking through the shallow waters of this bay is an memorable experience. Though it's a typical touristy route, it's still a great experience to witness the islands and the magnificent limestone rocks emerging out of the sea.

Hong Islands

Visited on Sunday January 2019 from long muang beach (we stayed at sofitel krabi). WHAT WE DID: went via private long tail boat to Koh pak Bia, La ding island and then Hong island itself (2500 bhat and extra 200 addes as we asked for food which helped us!) we opted for this as it gave us flexibility for which order we wanted to go to the islands and I wanted to be at hing island when there were few people. we left at 10am - 40 mins to pak bia- beautiful we were one if the first ones there which was great. La ding was then packed busy so we skipped it ! got to hong island at 12:30. had lunch then went to the lagoon and then to hong island itself. At 2:45-3pm most people had left and the place was a lot quieter so fantastic to enjoy! the water was turquoise, pretty clear but I wouldn't say snorkel worthy. pure white sand beach. nature trail to enjoy too TIPS: -go private boat if you want to enjoy it for peace and quiet and go either first thing in the morning or aim to be there around 2-4pm -take lunch and drinks. there is a restaurant though -do the nature trail! just a lovely peaceful walk on forest path. we didn't have time to go all the way so did a little bit then came back -RELAX! Pros: beautiful stunning beach and lagoon, Cons: nothing.

Simply beautiful island, While snorkeling saw clownfish (think Nemo!) swam with Sharks, sea turtles and a myriad of tropical fish. Walked along some stunning beaches. Got climbed on by Monkeys... so much to do in one day. Your experience will be impacted by your choice of tour operator. We (family & I) booked through Mr Chet Longtail Boat Trips and couldn't recommend him highly enough. You can message him and book through Facebook. Half the price of our resort-offered trip, but a longer trip with more time at more places, great deckie (Don) who was knowledgeable, helpful and funny as hell! Plus, the way our itinerary was laid out we got to places before the crowds meaning we saw more - and we saw a LOT! Truly fantastic day.

This is the island we spend about an hour. Shallow water and white sand. You can walk around quite a bit. Nice place to run around.

LOVED Koh Kho Khao Island - quiet, relaxing - good swimming beaches - I stayed at DreamZ Ocean Pearl Resort - it has recently re-opened (December 2018) and I got a great deal. So good to get our of the madness of Patong and just chill out - I did nothing, other than swim and sunbake - exactly what I was looking for. Mama's restaurant, up the beach from the resort is definately worth walking along the beach to - beautiful family and great food - Pirates Bar, at Dreamz Ocean Pearl resort is excellent - brilliant staff, great nightly BBQ and the owner Ko, is very entertaining. Definately will be visiting again:)

On a sunrise Phi Phi Island tour with simba Sea Trips, this was our first stop for a wander, snorkel and light breakfast Truly idealic and a great start to the day. The coral has lost a lot of colou, but the fish & clams make up for that. A great experience.

We have travelled all around the world and this is one of new favorite places in the world! ???????????????????????? I almost want to keep this place a secret...! This place is so relaxed, with the most beautiful beaches, corals and sea life! They have lots of amazing beach restaurants and bars to enjoy and Walking Street in the middle of the island which has everything you want! ???? To preserve the beautiful island and wildlife Koh Lipe has implemented some great environmental initiatives such as Trash Hero which is a scheme where you use reusable aluminum bottles instead of plastic and picking up rubbish. Also they close the reefs for 6 months per year to give the reef an opportunity to regenerate. With these great environmental initiatives this beautiful place will stay like this for all to enjoy for years to come! ???? ???????????????????????????????? #island life #fun #relax #sunset #beachcocktails #peachytravellers #kohlipe #thailand #snorekelling #coral #fish

Koh Haa Island

Reviewed By NEMO3 - Northampton, United Kingdom

Disappointed by the snorkelling experiences on our other island tours we were advised that the Koh Haa Island trip was the best for unspoilt beaches and coral. The cost was B2,500 each and an additional B400 each national park fee, which included hotel pick up, breakfast, lunch, soft drinks and a high speed catamaran to the islands. It was well worth it, the islands are closed to tourists for the winter months and the environment reflects the fact that less tourists have visited. The water is crystal clear and teaming with fish, we even spotted a small black tip reef shark. The beach is powder white sand. You can't miss this trip.....
