Haegefjell Vradal

WALK OF MEDIUM DIFFICULTY with beautiful panoramic views of Vradal and the lakes Nisser and Vravatn. This makes a lovely walk, whether you choose to go the whole way or only part of it. After you get past Stemnetten, there are 360- degree views the whole way. The ground is mainly rock, but there are some damp stretches. Wear good footwear and a windbreaker! YOU CAN START at Vradal ski centre and head up to Tverrfjellet, either by cable car or on foot. You can also start at Stemnetten. Take the road with the toll barrier (there is a box where you can pay) to the top of the hill. The path, shown in red on the map, starts there, and heads past Luktarhola, Sveigefjell, Brennstoylnuten and Haegefjellskardet, and on up to the top of Mount Haegefjell. From Haegefjell you return by the same path. It is also possible to continue down to Nissedal and Fjone.

Telemark Opplevelser Day Tours

Telemark Opplevelser would like to offer you the opportunity to see and enjoy the mountain from a different perspective. By avoiding the mainstream going up the most common route, we will guide you via an alternative route up the NW ridge. After gaining some altitude and scrambling some boulders we will get to the ridge. By following the ridge the summit will be in range after some nice passages and scaling boulders. With 1692 meter on one side and 962 on the other makes this trip an exciting and memorable one. During our tour there will be some scrambling and very easy climbing, nothing that will not be in your ability to fulfil.
