Playa Cavancha

Cavancha beach is the second one in the center of Iquique. It is highly recommended for young children and teenagers, and for adult and older people as well. The beach has different option to rent, such as umbrellas, beach and lounge chair, and so on. You also can buy a soda or a snack. Watch out with the sellers, because there are a lot of them. The only thing that I bought them is sods, because I wasn’t sure about the quality of cooked food. The best hours to get there is between 10 to 14 and 18 to 20h. Enjoy!

Parque Nacional Volcan Isluga

Reviewed By LouisD16230 - Switzerland, null

We visited the park as part of a guided tour, as the place is difficult to access from Iquique (long road) and it was difficult for us to find an accommodation nearby. Magical Tours is the company we chose. We were a small group of 8 people and really enjoyed the tour. The guide explained everything we were looking at and was careful to speak a slow and understandable Spanish for us, as we aren't so good at it. Moreover, we could see many (many!) different animals, from lamas to austruches, passing by different birds and vicuñas. The only drawback of the tour was the time it took to start it... reason why we also finished it later then expected. But globally, really worth it!
