My wife and I had Shannon as pilot for our 1 hour session and we literally had the experience of a lifetime. Shannon was a great instructor, even to the point of learning a few Thai words to help whilst my wife 'flew' the simulator. I've not seen her with a much bigger smile on her face than when she was at the controls. Myself, I was fully engrossed in it all and would like to make it a daily event!

Fountain of Wealth

Reviewed By TalDarkLeanMean - Staines, United Kingdom

To average person it's just a huge shower to cool off in the heat or a dancing fountain like any other tourist attraction but it's deeply philosophical and heavily symbolic. This four legged, spider shaped, War of the World alien invasion kind sculpture is based on Chinese principles Feng shui. In Chinese culture water is a symbol of life and wealth. And when its falling inwards like in this fountain, it means money rolling in instead of going out. Simply put so the Suntec City can remain happy and wealthy ever after. Design of this fountain is also influenced by Hindu philosophy mandala. It's shaped like a ring in left hand and if you look at it from above, it's surrounded by 5 buildings that act like 5 fingers. The four pillars represent the four major religions of the country and the bronze material it's made of is also linked to prosperity. It all somehow translates into the whole universe and shows the unity, equality and harmony of all people in Singapore. As a added bonus, they perform a daily ritual when they turn off the water and let people go around it 3 times for good luck so they can share some of Suntec City's wealth too.
