Enjoy the hike up Antelope Falls, rappel down the face of the waterfall and swim in the restful pools below. Hike back to the lodge for lunch and finish the day off with an exciting Zipline Adventure. Recommendations: Although bookings can be made later we like to set off at 9 am to avoid hiking in the midday sun. Items to bring: Bug repellent, long pants, t-shirt, bathing suit, sneakers (you will get wet but will dry quickly). You should be fit enough for the 1½ hour* hike to the top of the falls some of which is on steep terrain. Tie up your hair for the Zipline. Minimum weight 100lbs.

Bocawina is a hidden gem in Belize! Review for Antelope Falls hike and rappelling It took us about an hour of moderate hiking to get to the top of Antelope Falls. It was well worth it, as we were rewarded with a sweet little pool. After relaxing, we then got to hype up our adrenaline by rappelling down the falls. Tony and Rony were great guides and I felt completely safe in their hands. It was an awesome experience. The views were incredible and you really felt like you deep in a tropical paradise! Bocawina Adventures were a great company to work with and my whole group felt well taken care of, from the highway pick-up, to the tour, to lunch after! Some hints/tips: - The last 20 minutes or so of the hike were quite steep...there were built-in steps and a rope to hold on to as you climbed - Since we were doing rappelling, we carried our harness and equipment during the hike - Wear your swimsuit so you can swim or just take a dip to cool off! - You will get wet during the rappelling - There are changing rooms and lockers at Bocawina Adventures headquarters

At the end of the hike we arrived at a beautiful and refreshing waterfall that we enjoyed so much. In the afternoon we had a local maya lunch followed by this culture teaching us how they make delicious savory chocolate directly from the fruit. This was definitely an adventurous day in Belize I will never forget. Definitely a must do tour with Untame Belize from Placencia.

Going on this adventure with us means you will experience an amazing tractor ride through the Belize rainforest. Along the way, you will experience 8 river crossings and be surrounded by an amazing landscape. After the tractor ride, an arduous hike through the rainforest awaits you before you get to see Davis Falls.Second only to Thousand-Foot Falls, Davis falls is one of the largest waterfalls in Belize with a height of around 500 ft (120 meters). The staff at the Bocawina Resort (Ken) told us about this wonderful trip and shared his pictures with us. We were hooked! This family-owned company is so focused on making sure that their guests have a wonderful experience. I am not particularly young or fit, and our guide made sure that I felt comfortable during the challenging hike. He took my hand during the trickier parts so that I could enjoy myself. I so appreciated the concern for our comfort level and that he was in tune to that. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Belize and we can't thank the Awe family enough for their hospitality.

My family and I decided to be a tourist in our own country so we booked a private tour with Truly Wild Belize. They were recommended by a friend that had already booked a tour with them. They picked us up in their clean and comfortable private shuttle and we headed out to our first stop, the Mayan ruins. Our tour guide Jason was very knowledgeable about the history of the Maya ruins that we visited. Next we went to a local cacao farm where we had the experience in making our own chocolate. To end the day we made our final stop at a near by waterfall. The water was refreshing and the scenery was amazing. Truly Wild Belize great people and amazing service.
