Walker Farms

The honey store is surrounded by native and tropical trees and plants. Many visitors state, it looks like old Florida. A place to relax, talk about honey and taste the local honey: saw palmetto, wild flower, orange blossom and black mangrove. Our guest give us have a good time.

I pass this farm twice a week and decided to pop in and see what they had to offer. Turning down a dirt/gravel road off Slater Road I come upon a charming wooden country open-aired building. There are wooden benches outside and under shade to catch a view of the farm property. Ms. Penny (Allen & Joyce Walkers daughter) was sitting outside and greeted me. Warm & friendly and informative about their homemade products. Need honey? They’ve got it bottled and fresh! Soaps? You can grab a bar or two and know there are no weird additives being added. Lotions, candles, and sweet small gifts for yourself or a friend can be picked up inside this cute small homey shop. Look for the “honey sold” sign off Slater Road close to Bayshore Road in North Fort Myers!

B Unique Boutique

WOW what an amazing experience. I have been coming to Captiva Island on vacation for over 30 years and never new this little gem was on Sanibel. One of my favorite boutiques on the island closed and B Unique Boutique was recommended. I stopped by and was lucky to catch the owner before she closed. She was as nice as can be and welcomed me in her store. Sanitizer was available to use prior to shopping in her COVID safe store. The boutique was full of beautiful fashions and so many items were on sale. I loved the personalized attention the owner gave me as I tried on many items. Her honesty on fit and style for me was appreciated since I was shopping alone. I bought 2 dresses and love them both. Thanks Sandra - I can't wait to shop here again next year!

Went on a mission to find the perfect vintage hat and accessories to wear to Kentucky horse races - wow did I hit the jackpot! James took the time to understand my taste and the look I wanted, and found truly unique, special pieces to take my outfit from okay to standout gorgeous. The hats, did I mention the hats? From his huge inventory, James plucked the most flattering style for my face, hair and outfit, then coordinated lovely gloves and purse to boot, giving me great jewelry tips that enabled me to use my own pieces to style this just right. This place is truly special, if you have any interest in the history of fashion, or just want a fun day browsing through spectacular clothing, don’t miss this style mecca. Prices were also very reasonable. Cant wait to wear my amazing finds on Ky. Oaks day, see you in the La Troienne winners circle?

From the moment you walk in you are filled with a sense of "this place is special"!!! I have been there quite a few times and consider it one of my getaways to find unique items, amazing cocktails, and the owners are the cherry on top! The back of Remedies is where the magic all comes together. It's truly secret garden-esque. The candles, the plants, the statues, it's all quite intoxicating! But truly what sets this gem apart are the owners. The owners have taken so much time to curate unique items and create this atmosphere. This is what sets it apart, in my opinion. You feel it in every inch of this beautiful establishment! Tyna and Anthony make you feel at home and truly care for every single person that walks into their "baby"! REMEDIES PARLOR is a must see!!!!!
