Property was very nice, the bed and room was too small.

Reviewed By gerrymW1305EV

The queen room was two double beds-too small for a 6 ft. husband. Our flight was delayed, the car rental agency only keeps reservations for a specific date, so we had to re-reserve, so we arrived at about 2 am for our room. No one was there, called about 4-5 times before they unlocked the door and allowed us to register and get to our room. The attendant was grumpy, so we obviously awaken him.

Great experience. Clean, quiet, cute retro decor. Convenient parking just outside our door. We were given 2 complimentary drinks at the Tiki Hut on the property and the bartender was phenomenal! He was very personable as were the other guests that were there.

We had a great experience. Staff were great. Food was good. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The beach was disappointing…no fault of Naples Grande….just nature. The beach water in that area is brown and cloudy….brine possibly from the man groves. Good to know if you are planning a day at the beach and looking forward to swimming.

The Real Deal

10 members of my family enjoyed a wonderful time at the pink shell resort in May. The staff is awesome and the atmosphere is fun and upbeat. Very clean and a full service resort. We enjoyed the beach service and experienced all the restaurants. Food was good. We enjoyed the pool and the corn hole game! I don’t wanna forget to mention the room attendants did such an awesome job cleaning and replacing the towels… could not be happier with that.Last but not least….Ranger Rob was Awesome!! We enjoyed visiting with him at the game table. Loved asking him questions about animals and getting his insight on them. He was definitely a highlight of our vacation. We were getting ready to take a walk around the end of the island and he was headed to the beach to clean so we walked together and he picked up any trash that was on the beach… he loves nature and keeping things as they should be. My daughter-in-law and I went on the kayak tour with him in the bay and it was so enjoyable! He’s just laid-back, super knowledgeable and has such a passion for all the animals. I highly recommend doing this tour with him. Also, would love to mention that my husband, son and son-in-law went on a fishing trip with a captain named Fabian Guerrero from Fort Myers. And they had the fishing trip of a lifetime! They reeled in several Tarpon and one was 140 pounds! So I highly recommend this guy as well. I definitely loved staying at the pink shell resort! We will be back!

Amazing!

I’m only sad we stayed 3 nights, wish it would have been longer! I can’t wait to return and only to stay at the Carlisle Inn. Everything was wonderful! The front desk women were very nice. Becky was so sweet and thorough and went above and beyond to provide additional details about the premises. It was a very warm welcome that made my husband and I feel very confortable. After we reached our floor, I felt everything looked so beautiful. Our room was so clean and you can tell an effort is being made. The room is so roomy, high ceilings and a comfy bed with comfy pillows. When I go to hotels I feel if I don’t feel comfortable where I’m staying/sleeping, I cannot relax at all. This hotel/room made me feel at ease at once and I was able to sleep so soundly and early too which I had been struggling with. The complimentary breakfast was very nice. You have so much space to park which is free, and the Der Dutchman restaurant owned by the hotel is yummy and has such wonderful customer service. We ate here everyday. Don’t forget to also check their bakery and gift shop. You have it all in one place and not to mention the powdery white sand Siesta Key beach which was perfect and the beach water was also warm. The pool was wonderful and towels are provided. There is also a jacuzzi with jets, very warm. Places we tried which are worth checking out include Rip Fire Pizza & BBQ and Daiquiri Deck. Before sunset we went back to the Siesta Key to check out the beautiful sunset, a few clouds but still beautiful.

Stayed Memorial Day here (3 nights) and very pleased! Location is great for 5th Avenue, restaurants, shopping, etc and a short walk across the street to Tin Roof and the boats. Also, walking distance to Bayfront Shops/Restaurants. We stayed in a Riverview 1 BR and it was very nice. Plenty of room for us and it’s very clean, modern and comfortable. The pool, exercise room, restaurant, lobby etc are excellent. Although the garage parking is $18/night, we just had a short walk from it onto our floor (2nd). It’s a great hotel and I hope to go back!

Amazing Wedding Weekend at Sundial

Reviewed By sfinkel28

My husband and I had the best destination wedding ever at The Sundial. The Sundial and our coordinator Francesca were amazing throughout the entire wedding planning process - from talking through the details on our contract to setting up all our details the day of wedding. We were in awe. We were supposed to get married on the beach with our toes in the sand, but due to a huge rainstorm the day prior, we moved the ceremony to the Lace Murex Lawn and the cocktail hour on the upstairs balcony and the reception fully indoors. It was 100% the right call. In fact, it was better than I could’ve ever imagined. Francesca said she had the Sundial’s engineering team do work to remove the large puddles around the lawn to make the new ceremony site work. I can’t say enough about Francesca. She answered all my emails quickly and clearly throughout the 15-month planning process. Booking rooms through reservations was also easy for all our guests. Our guests loved the ability to choose from the resorts 1,2 or 3 bedroom condos with fully stocked kitchens. Once we were there, everyone raved about the condos. They were clean, comfortable and accommodated everyone’s needs.
