I haven’t been here since I was a very young child & it brought so so many happy childhood memories to my mind, however don’t remember it being so big. What I really found interesting is the quiz they give you upon entry & counting the fairies (darn ... we missed one pesky one)!! As I personally think that keeps people (young or old) entertained whilst still enjoying the experience and I mentioned this to the lady as we were leaving (sorry, didn’t get your name) and I told her how enjoyable it was (thanks for the map!!) and apparently they try to change the quiz & hidden figures throughout the different seasons. One thing I didn’t realise after speaking to a member of staff half way through how difficult it was for them to keep this running throughout the extremely hot weather the UK has recently been experiencing so well done for all staff to ensure members of the public could still come in & enjoy this, reliving some childhood memories like I did during the heatwave!!!! Would definitely recommend this to anyone, young or old, suitable for disabled to just go and have the same experience as we did xx

The Southport air show is definitely a calendar event for me and my grandchildren, there is so much to do. As well as the fabulous show displays including a Typhoon, Lancaster bomber and Spitfire, there are many static displays including the Army, who have vehicles to climb into and weapons on display, just off the beach for the children to get involved. They have model planes taking off and landing from the beach, these are not 'airfix' kits but huge models which are brilliant in there own right. The location is perfect, uninterrupted views on a beautiful sea front, great parking on the beach and lots of amenities near you. All the various fast food places are right there to keep everyone well fed and happy.

We went here with a 5 year old and 18 month old, fantastic day out with kids! Plenty to do with small slides for younger kids and large rides for older kids, the “splash zone” was brilliant for kids and child friendly floors, place was very clean, would defiantly go back again, ideal for “non swimmers” with arm bands although they do have a deeper part, lazy river was also great.....kids loved it and in the words of a 5 year old it was the best day out ever!
