Sirius Charters

Bespoke family boat charter, which will give you a unique opportunity to see the wonderful Jurassic Coast from the sea. The boat is yours for the trip, there will be no other passengers. We will transit very close inshore along the most interesting parts of the World Heritage Site and see fossils on the rocks inside Durdle Door. On 3 or 4 hour trips we can anchor for a picnic and swim (water temperature allowing!). Please allow for the weather, as Sirius is a relatively small boat, we cannot always sail if strong winds or rain is forecast. I charge for the boat, not per person, and aim to make the trip affordable and attractive to family groups.

Kernow Coasteering

If you're visiting West Cornwall, be sure to come and take a tour with us! We are the UK's most westerly coasteering centre, and are spoilt with the awesome granite cliffs of the Lands End peninsula right on our doorstep. Come with Kernow Coasteering to explore the coastline up close and personal! Coasteering is the UK's fastest growing adventure activity and combines swimming, scrambling and jumping your way along the cliff-line, whilst exploring sheer ciffs, hidden caves and arches, as well as giving you a chance to see wildlife and experience the environment first hand. Coasteering is suitable for a wide range of abilities and ages, and is suitable for families, groups, individuals, parties, stage and hen dos and just about anyone else. So long as you can swim 50m in a swimming pool and have a reasonable level of fitness, you're ready to coasteer! Please note that children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Don't miss the chance to experience Cornwall in this truly unforgettable way!

Absolutely fantastic experience, Matt and his team were great and the route we took was superb. They made sure everyone was included regardless of ability and supported people who found coasteering a challenge enabling them to overcome their fears. My 15 year old who hates everything said it was the best thing he has done in years and by far and away the best thing about our holiday.

Guided fossil hunting and collecting walks at Charmouth on Dorset's Jurassic Coast with Chris Pamplin B.Sc.

Reviewed By 656tamarn - London, United Kingdom

We just got home from our two days on the Jurassic Coast. Chris was a marvel. My 7 year old was pretty grumpy but he told wonderfully terrible jokes and managed to cheer her up. Chris is knowledgeable and patient and makes it easy. Helped us get the eye for it and by the end if three hours we were seeing fossils everywhere. Really fun and it was spot on for all 3 generations of us.
