My 8YO son had a really great time at Sandown’s Adventure Camp this summer - he went for 3 days and each day was packed with fun and adventurous sports and games. He was entertained, exercised and made new friends. The camp leader and the rest of the team inspired confidence and were charming and kept the kids’ attention. Big thumbs up from my son.

Knockhatch Ski & Snowboard Centre

My son (15) is going on a school skiing trip and we booked four weekly lessons, one to one, as an introduction to skiing. I’m so glad we did this. His instructor Josh was brilliant with him, put him at ease with a good sense of humour. My son made great progress in such a short space of time. Book in advance as the slots get booked up quickly. I was so impressed with the Ski Centre - every member of staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. I have no hesitation at all in recommending this business. Thank you to all that work there ????

Skizone

At Skizone our revolving, fully adjustable ski slopes replicate a real piste. The slope surface is an astro-turf carpet which offers the most economical way to learn and is suitable for all ages and abilities. With a fully qualified instructor by your side throughout the lesson and a mirror at the bottom of the slope feedback is instant and gives you the best opportunity to perfect your technique.

compared to both dry slope and indoor snow slopes, Skizone is the best way to hone your skills. i've learnt to both ski and snowboard there. the 3 main advantages that it has are 1) unlike dry/snow slopes where you have to waste time going up and down on the drag lift, at Skizone you get every second of practice time. so half an hour on their equates to many hours on a dry slope. 2) the surface at Skizone has a lot more friction than at the other slopes, so you need a lot more control to do it. so it punishes you if you make a mistake, which means your technique becomes that much better. 3) unlike a dry slope, the gradient and speed of the slope can be altered by the instructor so it can be made to suit all abilities. also the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Staff are very friendly and helpful good facilities. Had a ski lessons today at your Milton Keynes venue and our instructor was Louie and he was absolutely fantastic. Had lessons there before and he was great as well as being left handed he understood my mistakes and corrected them easily. Feeling a lot confident thanks to him. If I could book every lesson with him I would.

As a nervous beginner, over 50 years old, I've had 4 fab ski lessons with different instructors in the last few weeks - John, Alex, Ovi and Gary. All very patient, clear informative, and I'm making progress beyond what I expected. Slow but sure! They always work at my pace. Great facility and excellent instructors.

As a family we have been on the tobbogan run several times. I am really glad that they now have a booking system rather than just turn up which prevents long queues between each ride and steady flow of guests. My 7 yrs old daughter had her first ski lesson today. The ski instructor was really patient with the kids and they all looked like they were hsving a great time, my daughter cant wait to come back for her next lesson the following week. Yes the main block/reception looks abit dated, but we are here to ski not sit inside. 5 stars all round. Glad to see the venue do busy after lockdown.
