Orlovo Oko - Eagle's Eye viewpoint

Reviewed By Phred01 - Burgas, Bulgaria

If you're going on foot: GO EARLY! The trail starts just next to Hotel Mursal in Yagodina village and zigzags up to the top. It took us 1 hour 40 minutes to get up there and we were rewarded with a fabulous view. And NO OTHER TOURISTS! We also had a picnic overlooking the Devil's Path on the other side of the valley (you can catch a glimpse of the besedka at the top with binoculars) and were lucky enough to see a couple of eagles fly past. Magical. TAKE A HAT AND WATER if you're doing it in summer as it's very exposed.

We only hires ski's and boots, both of which were great, any issues and the equipment is changed immediately. The guys there are fantastic, we even got given some snaps at the end of the day... can’t ask for better service than that !

Pamporovo Ski Resort

Reviewed By Daveydave696969 - London, United Kingdom

We had 4 gloriously sunny days of skiing this week in Pamps, it was my second visit having learned there myself and subsequently moving on to Morzine. Look this isn't the best ski resort in the world, the only green they have is very long - effectively split into two sections - the first is a lot busier than the second. **Big tip** if the lift queues are too long the first 4 person chair lift down from Students on the green is quieter than the 3 person one right at the bottom. The kids loved it, they learned to ski with a personal ski instructor that cost me around 40 pounds an hour (amazing value IMO) and i'm sure they will out ski me next year, they tried their first blue on the fourth day. Whilst they learned I mostly went on the big long blues (12/12a) reds and I did the wall (2) once which was a bucket list thing for me - I'm not a lover of heights lol The food is great in most places up the mountain however the lifts do close at 4:30 so we eat in Spider House in the evening or at our apartment at the Grand Monastery, thats about it for Apres Ski really. All in all very good value for money, there is a variety of runs however it's not massive.

The cave is spectatular, however, it is easily accessible even if you are visiting with young children. The area is beautiful and there are plenty of opportunities for hiking, relaxing or dining in the area.

Waterfalls Canyon

Reviewed By Phred01 - Burgas, Bulgaria

You can park in the road before the turning, or pay 4 leva for the privilege of having someone look after your car for the day OR drive up a bit further the awful road and park there. Then the walk starts...which goes past a few hungry jeep drivers who will offer to take you (for 5 leva we heard) to the ACTUAL beginning of the walk under the canopy of trees. Admittedly the first bit is a bit of a slog, but you could treat it as a warm up. With regular opportunities to stop and take a break with your picnic (take your rubbish home of course) it's a delightful morning's walking. There are steep parts but overall it's relatively straight forward. Recommended! Oh, and it took us 3.5 hours but we weren't in a hurry and had a very long stop at the top.

A car along the Devinska River leads to an unpaid parking lot and then a tourist route through the forest and along the river. to the right of the main line there is an ascent about 500 meters along the eco path and you are at the waterfall. Naturally, the spring water is more and it is good to visit during the months of April and May.

We`ve visit The Wonderful Bridges on our way to Smolyan. The road to the bridges isn`t too wide so I do advice to be careful while driving. However we visit the Wonderful bridges, had lunch at the restaurant near by and we descend down under via Zip line. Definitely should visit.
