A great place to relax with a coffee or a drink overlooking the best views of Sierra de los Padres. This offsets the relatively limited choice of food.

A lot of handkerchiefs (rows and rows) tied up lead to this grotto, signs of fires that "accidentally" burned the old ones and a lot of offerings to the Virgin, asking for help and health. Good stands peddling their food and nice local artisan goods on the walk to the grotto. You can also buy your hankies there. We were based in Mar del Plata and did a day trip there. I'd say it's worth the trip.

We brought a youth rugby team to watch the All Blacks play the Pumas here. It was very easy to find gates, and enter/exit. There was a fantastic entertainment area set up in front of the stadium and the food/drink areas were quick and (relatively) cheap. Only frustrating thing was people leaving there seats and congregating in the areas at the bottom of the stands and blocking the views of those in the lower seats.
