Amazing masks there. I love the one I bought there when I went on holidays to Albania. Great selection of lovely hand-made Venetian masks. And they care so much about the quality of their work that if the mask has a bit of damage from being on display, they won’t sell it to you. They will only sell it if it’s in perfect conditions. That’s how much they care.

Kiri Adventures

Kiri Adventures is a new kind of tour operator, the social kind. We're lean, eco-friendly, locally run, and giving back to our community and guests is our priority. Albania is an amazing place, but it’s far from perfect. Over here at Kiri Adventures, we operate under the belief that travel is an exchange, not a commodity. When you do an activity with us, you’re giving back as much – if not more – than what you take away, often in ways you’d never expect.

I had some wonderful days hiking both in Theth and Valbona Valleys. Beautiful landscape, amazing mountains and woods - and the unforgetable nights filled with fireflies. And I mean filled... after sunset this most beautiful show would start, everywhere you looked you had dozens of small lights afloat in the air. The food was also great, some of the best yogurt and vegetables I ever had, and the people really nice.

Rozafa Castle

Reviewed By marybC8078UU - London, United Kingdom

We went here on a very rainy day with two kids. Despite the rain they really had a great time! A huge castle where kids can roam and discover freely. And there is a lovely little cafe next to the museum in the old Venetian building in the centre of the castle keep, that hangs off the side of the cliff and has floor to ceiling windows with stunning views. Great toasted cheese sandwiches on a cold and wet day to warm us up!

Along the whole lake, from Fierza to Koman, on a trip that lasts less than three hours, visitors can be amazed at the views they offer. Ferry trips or a smaller boat offer unrepresented pleasure, while the attraction itself is the villages of this area and the streams of some rivers flowing into the lakes. I can freely say that Koman Lake is one of the most beautiful places and most worth visiting in Albania. Staying in this area is an indescribable adventure. you can visit amazing, fairytale places, many of them unexplored before, which can be quite rightly called paradise on earth, such as the Shala River and the cave of this river,

Shkodra Lake

Reviewed By WITYTRAVELS

You can't get a proper view of Lake Shkodër from the city, so it is best to make your way out of town to Shiroka / Shirokë. Lake Shkodër is not only the largest lake in the Balkans, it is the largest lake in all of Southern Europe. The lake is on the border between Albania and Montenegro. This route is better by bike and best by car, but we decided to visit on foot. Since we also visited Rozafa castle in the same day, we figured we would not be able to use the bikes there, so we could just get all of our steps in for the day. I think walking all the way from Shkodër to Shirokë and walking around Rozafa Castle added up to 11 miles on foot for the day. The walk from the Castle to Shiroka was long but really nice. The goal was to get to a large opening of the lake, but the entire route was along the water. The Buna River flows into Lake Shkodër so you will walk along water the entire time. There is a large sidewalk to keep you safe and off of the street and there is plenty of room for pedestrians and for bikes.
