Very helpful, informative, friendly and available guide/receptionist in English (and other languages). We wish we could attend a performance there someday in April. Very worth the visit.

Yashima

Yashimahiji is great place to visit. Nice expansive views -great statues and temple buildings. Temple is number 84 on Shikoku pilgrimage. I walked up from train station and the incline is steady uphill but not overly steep.
