We loved the boardwalk trail—very different from the hiking trails at other parks. The beach was very narrow but we were able to access it and find space easily.

We loved our experience at 3 Sheeps Brewing Company. Bartenders were wonderful and the beer was great. Nice open space to hang out with family and friends. I can't wait to visit on a warm day. Fun map to see where everyone is coming from and you can even buy a beer for a friend on a future visit. How cool is that!! There is also a game room to have some fun.

Deland Park

My husband and I were there today, and it was very lovely! It gets fairly busy, but there was still plenty of room to set out our towels and to get into the water without being too close to anyone. The lighthouse is right there too, which is gorgeous at sunset! There are bathrooms right there with flushable toilets and changing rooms, as well as a water spicket to rinse the sand off one's feet. It was a very relaxing day. There is a lot of street parking and some lot parking by the marina, which I believe was free.

Husband and I were able to take a last minute extended weekend get away and this is where we chose. We had great service from the time we arrived until we left. We chose to pay for breakfast to be included in our stay and were not disappointed in the Beacon Restaurant's breakfast. The views are incredible and it makes you feel like you are on the ocean, in Wisconsin. We were able to walk along the water, enjoy the waterpark lazy river and hot tub. We also went mini-Golfing. Noise level for our room was great. Only heard 1 kid running down the hall all weekend. Our room was clean and well taken care of. For me, the bed was a bit hard and that did effect my sleep, but everyone is different and prefers different types of beds.
