Auto-und Uhrenwelt

When you have visited the Steim collection and the diesel museum, you can walk to the Car and watches Schramberg which takes you about a few minutes. The main museum is four floors, the upper one is the clock museum / clock, while the other three floors are German transport after 1945, through 1965. Fascinating look at post-World War II transport era (except for cars, bikes, motorcycles, even motorized wheelchairs). The pass combination allows entry to this main museum, the Junghans car collection, and the Diesel museum. The main building is the transport of everyday, working class. The museum is very Autosammlung Steim tall cars from late 1905 until 2005, with an emphasis on the pre-war years. They have several ditches from 1905, a Dusenberg, several knots (with Ohio Historical licenses), half a dozen old fire trucks (Mercedes!), And even race cars. We spent two hours here and could easily have stayed another hour. It is worth the high price of 9 Euro each of the two collections that we saw

The museum “Autosammlung Steim” is located at walking distance from the “Diesel Museum” and the “Car and watches” museum, you should take enough time to visit them all as we did. There is on this moment a special exhibition with fire engines. In the museum are also fire engines from 1916 to 1987. In addition to vehicles from the Mercedes and Magirus brands, there are also rarities from Saurer, Pirsch, Chevrolet and American La France. They have also a large number of model fire engines of various scales to be seen. A private collection with around 130 unique vehicles where you will discover real treasures: Among the numerous automobiles are top-class rarities such as a Maybach Zeppelin from 1932, a De Dion from 1902 and a Ford NHeinrich Lübke von
