 Sauda (help·info) is a municipality and industrial town in Rogaland county, Norway. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Sauda, where most of the population lives. Other villages in the municipality include Saudasjøen and Amdal. Despite being in the northern part of the region of Ryfylke, Sauda participates in the Haugalandet Council and is under the jurisdiction of the Haugaland District Court.

Visit this place, and take your time walking the stairs and stone steps all the way to the top of the waterfall. Really impressive! Not many people here, despite the fact that this is just as impressive as Låtefoss. No café or anything, just pure nature and bliss.

This beautifully situated farm stands high above Saudasjoen in Ryfylke, with a fantastic wiew of the fjord. The buildings have been restored with implements and furnishings as they were at the turn of the century. Guided tours by appointment only. Industrial Workers Museum

In Haakonsgate 51-53 Ryfylkemuseet has established an industrial worker’s museum. The four-family house has an apartment furnished in 1920-s style to reflect the style from when the house was newly built, and another one which style dates to the 1960s. The apartments show what it was like to live in a worker`s apartment. The other ground floor-apartment houses the exhibition «Under the smoke» showing how it was to be an industrial worker, the factory and the life in Åbøbyen.
