Ryde is an English seaside town and civil parish on the Isle of Wight, with a population of 23,999 at the 2011 Census. It lies on the north-east coast. The town grew in size as a seaside resort after the villages of Upper Ryde and Lower Ryde were merged in the 19th century. The influence of this era is still strongly visible in the town's central and seafront architecture.

Lovely walk around, free parking enjoyed feeding the pigs - great fun! Farm shop was also full of some great gifts or even things for lunch to take home. (Homegrown veg, local IOW produce, freshly baked foccacia). Would visit again and visit the tea garden on a sunny day.

Came across this by accident and well worth a visit, little curio shops in the Arcade and selling bits and pieces at very reasonable prices.

Ryde is such a relaxing and beautiful place to visit with its gardens at one end and it's esplanade at the other where you can watch the boats and hovercraft coming and going while having a drink and bite to eat at one of the many cafes.
