Jeremy's Home Store

Jeremy's aim is to stock a wide range of essential, practical and fun products at affordable prices. Jeremy's Home Store was established in 1996 by Jeremy Waller with the help of his business partner and wife, Clare. Together they have created an 'Aladdin's Cave' of home-ware products, injecting a magical appeal in to those everyday essentials. Their aim has always been to provide their customers with essential, practical and fun products at affordable prices. Although only a small shop, Jeremy's quickly grew in popularity and reputation, so that in 2002 it underwent an extension to accommodate the growing need for its fantastic products. Then at the end of 2012 the shop doubled in size, taking over the vacant premise next door. This enabled a more diverse selection of gadgets and gizmos to be stocked and saw the shop turn into the 'crammed to the rafters' wonderland that it is today. Through out the years Jeremy's has managed to retain that traditional, rustic feel, providing its customers with a unique shopping experience. This is owed in part to the family atmosphere Jeremy's evokes, upheld by its loyal, friendly, knowledgable staff, many of which have been there years. No longer Tunbridge Wells' best kept secret, Jeremy's has decided to branch out on to the world wide web. Fulfilling the desire to bring their loyal customers, many of who travel from all over the UK to see us, the products that they want, from the comfort of their own homes. We stock everything from tin openers, to Emma Bridgewater tins. If you can't find what you are looking for in store or online then please contact us and we will be happy to help you track down any elusive items!

The Bedford

The Bedford has gone from strength-to-strength since re-launching itself back in March 2013. It is recognised as one of the top traditional ale pubs in Kent and features microbrewery beers from over 30 different breweries across Kent, Sussex, Surrey & London. We can boast 11 real ales and three or four local ciders at any one time, with regular ‘out-of-area’ beers coming in. There is always something on the bar for the serious ale drinker. All our beers are Cask Marque approved and regularly score 100%. The Bedford is also renowned for it's live music events. We usually have a band playing every Saturday evening and on the last Sunday evening of the month. Along with this and other one-off nights, you can be assured that there will always something happening in our funky and quirky bar!

The Parish Church of King Charles the Martyr

Reviewed By digijrs - London, United Kingdom

I visited this church by arrangement with the Vicar for the purposes of photographing the interior of the church. As with the vast majority of Vicars he was very happy to allow me to do this. Entrance is of course free, but I am sure donations are welcome. The church is normally open on a daily basis for visitors and is stewarded by very helpful volunteers. The church has a very interesting history as well many visual items. It is situated a short walk (approx 5-6 minutes) from the Railway Station and at the entrance of The Pantiles.
