I have been here a few times and they had the observatory open to view Saturn. They also had a lot of astronomy experts set up their telescopes on the grounds to see the moon, mars and the Milky Way. Amazing experience. They used to have some talks as well.

Loved the crafts and exhibits Delicious home-made scones and good tea served with pretty crockery. Learnt a lot from the demonstration of textured sculptures. Pleasant people. Firmly recommend.

It is a lovely park in all seasons but particularly beautiful in summer with the light shining off the water and the ducks and canoes. It has a great walking track/ board walk and lots of spots to stop and just take in the tranquility of the lake. It has a super tiny beach fit for toddlers , a great park and decent parking.

This lovely cosey gallery has so many Art related programs to offer. Weekends solo or group show & sale, Art Classes for children and adults, Workshops and Demos, Summer Artists in residence. Life drawing or figure drawing and ... . Members are so nice and friendly and you can find a vast variety of original art works. Excelent place to discover!
