My brother and I had such an awesome experience. We had the tour guide to ourselves and he gave us a private tour just the 2 of us they didn’t cancel. The driver/guide was really nice and informative and he showed us around Skopje and gave us all the time we needed to soak up the views and take pictures! Unfortunately we didn’t get to ride the cable car to the millennium cross because it wasn’t operating, but we we got to go see and enter church st. Panteleimon instead which was very cool. We will definitely be returning and booking again with them. Thank you for a great time and fun experience ????????

We have visited 3 Balkan countries, and Ohrid was one of the highlights of our trip. Its much more prettier than on the photos, and wster is perfectly clear. Tour did meet our expectations, and to daul away without the guide it would be pretty but much less interesting. Our guide bob was easy going polite and interesting and he made our day. Hope to come back here with my family and stay longer, and for sure i will contact Balkan experience again.. They are very professional.

A tour that will take you to one of the most interesting destinations of Balkans Ohrid town, This town is North Macedonia's most seductive destination. It sits on the edge of serene Lake Ohrid, with an atmospheric old quarter that cascades down steep streets, dotted with beautiful churches and topped by the bones of a medieval castle. Famous for its lake and architecture. At the same time you will visit Lin, a small peninsula softly joins the shores of Lake Ohrid. It was once called “Lake of Light” perhaps because the light of both the sun and the moon wholly illuminate its surface year-round. Indeed, this lake’s reflections are legendary! Hundreds of locals reside in this small but beautiful peninsula. As you descend the road to get there, you will notice the beautiful red roofs of its characteristic small homes. If it were posible to give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. I have just completed a 15 day tour covering Montenegro, Serbia, Macedonia, and Kosovo with the tour company Visit Macedonia. This was an unbelievable experience! I am incredibly satisfied with the quality and professionalism of this company - every day was carefully thought out and well planned. My wishes and preferences were always the priority and Stefan (tour coordinator and guide) was flexible and able to change the itinerary in a moments notice if I expressed interest in something. Stefan paid attention to my interests and was able to make helpful suggestions and help me make the most out of my trip. Stefan and his daughter, Sofija, are both very knowledgeable about the region and were able to give me a fantastic introductory education and answer all of my questions. Traveling is not always easy or comfortable, but Stefan and Sofija made my trip as easy and effortless as possible - I felt like I was so taken care of and in such good hands. I had 15 days full of wonderful experiences and great conversation. If I wanted company, I had company. If I wanted solitude and to explore on my own, I had it. Overall, traveling with Stefan and Sofija was like traveling with friends, not like traveling with strangers. I trusted them fully and we had a lot of fun. I would 100% recommend them to literally anyone who wants to visit this part of the world. No other company will offer you this level of attention and care, I can promise that. I felt totally spoiled and have no regrets about my tour with this company.
