San Juanito is a lovely option to spend a day. Whether you only wish to eat lunch and have a glass of wine taking in the spectacular view of the vines and the Peña de Bernal or you wish to spend a whole weekend in their perfectly setup guesthouse, San Juanito has something for everyone to enjoy. One may go to this place with friends, family or significant other. They organise many events, including the traditional ones you would expect in a vineyard and/or winery like harvest festivals, and tours of the grounds accompanied by their expert enologist who explains the whole process of vine growing and wine making. San Juanito also offers carefully designed yet unpretentious but delicious dinners, luncheons, equestrian festivals and many more. Their proximity to the aerodrome and the quaint towns of Tequisquiapan and Bernal makes it the perfect setting for a hot air balloon ride and a romantic getaway or an adventure with family or friends. One could simply arrive any given weekend, order a delicious pizza, a glass of any of their multi awarded wines and sit in the shade of their terrace to enjoy the peace and quiet of this blessed place in the Mexican countryside. Wear a hat, bring a cozy coat for the sunset and be ready to enjoy a truly splendid time in San Juanito. The owners and staff will bend over backwards to make your visit a memorable one.

This tour is widely recommended. In our case we were lucky to have Miguel Cruz as a sommelier and guide. Miguel is very knowledgeable about everything to do with the property and services. He is definitely a great asset for this lovely place. We tried 3 different wines, all of them were so nice that at the end of the tour we bought 2 bottles to go, which price was very reasonable. Also I want to mention that the tapas we got while testing the wines were delicious. I will definitely visit again.

This amazing winery offers you several possibilities for food and activities. You can bike there, see the winemaking process, walk there or you just go for food. And there are more possibilities. You either go to the upper terrace luxury restaurant or down in a bistro style or you eat in their gardens under the trees. All that with a beautiful view on the pena de Bernal. Great is that this place is not so occupied like the other neighbor place.

We had a very nice experience here during our winery weekend in Tequisquiapan. This was the 4th winery we tried and was one of the most beautiful. It is popular with large groups and tours, so best to go early and beat the tour crowds. We arrived right on time - when we began our tour, a huge bus of tourists arrived and the line was very long to buy tickets. We chose to to the tour (recorrido) with 3 tastings. In our small tour group we were the only ones who chose to do 3 tastings, so we ended up having a personal wine tasting with the tour guide at the end of the tour. It was fantastic! We learned a lot and the wines were incredibly good. I am not a fan of rosado, but theirs was incredible. We ended up leaving with a bottle and would have bought more - I wish I had in retrospect. I also learned a lot - some of the tours don't go into any detail about the wine fabrication process. This one went from the very start to finish - it was very detailed. I thought the prices were reasonable if not average for this level of quality. We visited 6 wineries during our weekend and thought this was well worth the price and had some of the best wines we tried. Overall, my boyfriend and I were very pleased with the experience and we would have stayed longer if we hadn't other wineries to visit that day. I recommend you add this one to your list if you're also doing a tour of wineries. It was well worth the stop - just be sure you make this your first stop to beat the group tours.
